Duplo USA Profiles In-Plant and Commerical Printers in "How Do You Use Your Duplo" Video Series

Duplo USA Corporation, a leading manufacturer of digital print finishing equipment, has introduced a new video series called “How Do You Use
Your Duplo?” to profile in-plant and commercial print providers throughout the country and their finishing process using Duplo solutions. The series
can be watched on the Resources page at www.duplousa.com and on YouTube at youtube.com/DuploUSA.

Seventeen print providers from Texas, southern California, and Chicago have been profiled to date. In the short videos, customers provide a brief
tour of their operation and discuss the products they offer and how their Duplo equipment has contributed to their business.

Besides attesting to the benefits of digital print finishing, the series also provides a better understanding of how printers have increased their
efficiency and profitability by bringing finishing in-house, and in some cases, how offset and digital print work together to serve their customer
demands.

Some of the featured companies include:

Harte Hanks in Fort Worth, TX
“We’ve been able to bring in jobs that we outsourced before. Our revenues have come up. We’re actually bidding on jobs that we never would
have had an opportunity to bid on or been able to obtain.”

– Joe Ewers, vice president of business development at Harte Hanks

Methodist Healthcare in San Antonio, TX
“We’re able to turn around documents for our clients very quickly. Prior to that, we were having to send things out to a third party vendor for
additional bindery. Since we’ve had the Duplo DC-645 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser, we can do it in-house, we can do it on time, and we can do it under
budget.”

- Michael Schaefer, director of the Methodist Healthcare Print Center

Azusa Pacific University, Azusa, CA
“We’re currently 99% Duplo-operated. Since we acquired the DFS-3500 Full-Bleed Bookletmaking System, we’ve been able to turn jobs around
within a few hours where before it was taking us anywhere from 1-2 weeks to do them manually.”

– Donna Rutherford, senior manager of Duplicating Services and Evoke at Azusa Pacific University

Duplo USA to Unveil the Ultra 300Ai UV Coater Inline with the HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press at Dscoop

At the Dscoop8 Annual Conference, Duplo USA Corporation, a leading manufacturer of print finishing equipment, will unveil the new Ultra 300Ai
UV Coater fully integrated in-line with the HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press, demonstrating a seamless printing and UV coating solution for the HP
Graphic Arts user community.

Enhancing the value and vibrancy of printed pieces, the Ultra 300Ai adds richness to its colors and protects them from scratches and scuffs at
higher speeds up to 148 feet (45 meters) per minute. A high quality gloss or satin finish can be applied to a wide range of digitally-printed
applications up to 350 gsm, and paper sizes up to 13” x 19” can be processed in-line with the HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press. Similar to other Ultra
models, the Ultra 300Ai features an intelligent control system for ease of use and innovative technology for producing coated sheets with a smear-
free finish.

The Ultra 300Ai is connectable in-line with any HP Indigo 7x00 series digital press. The electronic interface provides bi-directional communication
that will alert the press to stop in the event a paper jam occurs in the UV coater. The Ultra 300Ai can also be used near-line or off-line using an
optional high capacity, air suction feeder.

Also on exhibit at the Duplo booth #938 will be the high production DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser and the DFS-3500 Full-Bleed Bookletmaking
System.

DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser: Duplo’s Most Powerful All-in-One Digital Color Finisher
Performing up to 10 slits, 25 cuts and 20 creases in a single pass, the DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser eliminates white borders and toner cracking
on digital color documents up to 50 sheets per minute. Taking the success of the DC-645 model to the next level, the DC-745 comes loaded with
additional features including a higher feed capacity and a PC Controller for easy job setup as well as offers optional scoring and perforating
modules for increased versatility. Users can go beyond basic finishing and create innovative, full-bleed applications such as business cards,
greeting cards, direct mailers, and perforated pieces in one pass!

DFS-3500 Full-Bleed Bookletmaking System with DSS-350 Square Spine
Combining the creasing and slitting functions of the DC-445 Creaser with the stitching, folding and trimming capabilities of the mid-range DBM-350
Bookletmaker, the DFS-3500 Bookletmaking System delivers an affordable, all-in-one solution ideal for lower volume jobs. Creasing the cover and
innermost sheets prior to folding prevents toner cracking and guarantees professional folds. The optional slitting module trims the head and foot of
each sheet for a full-bleed finish before accumulating in the bookletmaker, eliminating the need for separate cutting and creasing equipment. The
system also comes equipped with heavy-duty stitching heads and an integrated book spine compressor to produce booklets with a lay-flat finish.
The optional DSS-350 Square Spine can also be added to give booklets a square spine look.

Duplo USA Named Exclusive Distributor of Photobook Technology Products

Duplo USA Corporation, a leading manufacturer of print finishing equipment, has announced it has entered into an exclusive agreement with
Photobook Technology PBT to distribute its Mitamax, Mitabook, and Mitacase products in North America. The products contribute to Duplo
USA’s growing line of equipment for the on demand photo book industry.

The Mitamax is a gluing machine, which glues half-folded sheets together to build perfectly square and lay-flat book blocks. The Mitabook is a
fully automatic, hardcover casing-in machine designed to economically produce short-run, hard cover books. The Mitacase is an automatic hard
cover making machine. All systems are easy to operate, require little floor space, and fill the gap between semi-automatic hard cover systems and
higher production equipment.

“The Mitamax, Mitabook, and Mitacase are a great fit to our product line and we are very excited to be able to offer a full line of products for hard
cover applications, including lay-flat photo albums,” says Peter Tu, president of Duplo USA. “Our customers can use our Slitter/Cutter/Creasers to

Mitabook, and Mitacase to produce completely finished hard cover photo books on demand.”

Duplo USA will host an open house event January 23rd-25th, 2013 from 10:00am to 4:00pm in its showroom in Suwanee, Georgia, providing
visitors with an opportunity to see live demonstrations of the Mitabook and Mitamax products. Visitors attending the Imaging USA photographic
expo, which will be taking place on January 20-22nd in Atlanta, are invited to attend.

The open house will be held at the Duplo USA Training and Distribution Center, 100 Horizon Drive, Suwanee, Georgia 30024.

Duplo's DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser Awarded Product of the Year at 2012 NAQP Owners Conference

At the 2012 NAQP Owners Conference, Duplo was honored with the Product of the Year award for its high production digital color finishing
solution, the DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser. Duplo was recognized along with four other Industry Award recipients at the conference’s Industry
Luncheon held on Saturday, October 6th at the DoubleTree Hotel Magnificent Mile in Chicago, IL.

Paul Strack, president of CustomXM and NAPL committee member, presented the award. “It’s my pleasure this year to present the Product of the
Year to Duplo for the DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser,” announced Strack. “The Product of the Year is presented to a company that has produced
a new or enhanced product during the past year that improves product offerings, profitability or customer service in the quick and small
commercial print markets.”

Si Nguyen, national business development director at Duplo USA, accepted the award on Duplo’s behalf. “It is an incredible honor to have our
DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser awarded the Product of the Year. The DC-745 has proven to be a great finishing solution for digital printers and
we’ve been very pleased by the response it has received in the industry,” said Nguyen. “Our first slitter/cutter/creaser model, the DC-545, was
released back in 1999 followed then by the DC-645 and DC-615 models, which for the past decade have continued to be very successful
products for Duplo. We listened to customer feedback and heard the need for an enhanced solution for higher production. Our engineers at
Duplo Japan took this feedback and worked countless hours to make it happen.” He added, “The DC-745 helps print providers offer unique
applications and helps them be more efficient…more profitable…and more productive, enabling them to take advantage of the opportunities in the
markets they serve.”

Since its release in 2011, the all-in-one DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser has proven to be a success with high volume digital printers with its ability to
produce a wider range of uniquely finished applications. Performing up to 10 slits, 25 cuts and 20 creases in a single pass, the DC-745 eliminates
white borders and toner cracking on fold lines, producing professionally-finished documents in a matter of minutes. The versatile digital color
finisher also offers a range of extended capabilities, which include perforating, slit-scoring, micro-perforating and soon, folding and embossing.
Users can go beyond basic finishing and create innovative, full-bleed applications such as business cards, greeting cards, perforated
tickets/coupons, and much more.

The National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) announced a call for nominations in August for its annual NAQP Industry Awards -
namely Printer of the Year, Industry Award of Distinction, Supplier of the Year, and Product of the Year - to recognize those in the graphic
communications industry who have made significant contributions and had a positive impact on the quick and small commercial print industry.
Nominations are submitted by association members and reviewed by a panel of industry experts.

The 2012 NAQP Owners Conference – Embracing Change: Finding New Paths to Profits – took place Thursday, October 4th through Saturday,
October 6th. It is the only industry event dedicated solely to specific issues and interests of owners and executives in the quick and small
commercial printer segment.

Xerox Press Owners Maximize Productivity with Duplo Finishing Solutions

Duplo USA, a leading manufacturer of print finishing equipment, announces the following equipment installations with Xerox press owners. With
Duplo finishing solutions now in their shops, customers have improved overall productivity and efficiency.

CAPITOL CITICOM PRINT & GRAPHICS, in Columbus, OH, has vastly improved their efficiency and productivity with Duplo’s DC-745
Slitter/Cutter/Creaser. Previously using a guillotine cutter for trimming their jobs, the shop immediately removed the bottleneck in their operation.
The high production DC-745 removes white borders and prevents toner cracking at great speeds, and offers increased versatility to finish a wider
range of digital color applications in a single pass. “Finishing business cards has gone from 20 minutes to 3 minutes per 1000 cards,” says Michael
Oakes, production manager at Capitol Citicom. “With plans to add the folder attachment (Integrated Folding System) when it becomes available, it
will reduce the entire finishing process to a single step. Cross training is also a major focus for us and the automation of the DC-745 has enabled
every member of our team to quickly learn and operate the machine.” Jobs are printed on two Xerox iGen3 Digital Presses and three Xerox
DocuTechs. The machine was sold and installed by Duplo dealer, MB Graphics. Capitol Citicom Print & Graphics is a family-owned commercial
printer offering a number of services including high speed on-demand digital printing, wide format sign production, finishing, mailing and creative
design services.

WESTAT, based in Rockville, MD, is now producing their booklets, brochures, and catalogs on Duplo’s System 5000 Collating and
Bookletmaking System. The high production system offers easy changeovers and delivers saddle, side, or corner-stitched jobs up to 5,000
booklets per hour. Jobs are printed on four Xerox presses, which include the Color 1000, DocuTech 6180, DocuTech 6155, and the 700 Digital
Color Press, and are then combined in the bookletmaking system. “We take the output from all four presses and keep them running at full speed
while the System 5000 does the stitching, folding, and trimming,” says Ezra Schneider, manager at Westat. “The System 5000 makes it easy to
take a color cover from the Xerox 700 and combine it with black and white booklets produced on the other presses.” The machine was sold and
installed by Duplo dealer, Coleman One. Westat is an employee-owned research corporation consulting in statistical design, data collection and
management, and research analysis work and is recognized as one of the foremost research and statistical survey organizations in the country.

TOM HENRY CARDS, soon to open in Kissimmee, FL, has installed Duplo’s DC-615 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser. Ideal for finishing short-run jobs on
demand, the DC-615 eliminates white borders and prevents toner cracking on a variety of digital color documents in a single pass. "We are thrilled
with our DC-615. We feel that it will handle our finishing needs for some time to come,” says owner Gazel Hendricks. The shop has also added
Xerox’s 700i Digital Color Press. Tom Henry Cards (www.tomhenrycards.com) is an eco-friendly, online greeting card store set to launch this
September. The machine was sold and installed by Duplo dealer, Digital Services.

Commercial Printers and In-Plans Add New Duplo Finishing Equipment

Duplo USA, a leading manufacturer of print finishing equipment, announces the following new machine installations.

CAVANAUGH PRESS, a commercial printer in Baltimore, MD, is now creasing prior to folding their digitally-printed pieces with Duplo’s DC-445
Creaser. A solution no digital printer should do without, the DC-445 prevents toner cracking on a variety of documents and can process up to 15
creases in a single pass at up to 50 sheets per minute. “We used to send our jobs out for this,” says Bob Atwell, president of Cavanaugh Press.
“We can now crease along and against the grain at heat score quality, without any outside expenses.” The machine was sold and installed by
Duplo dealer, Coleman One. Cavanaugh Press is a full service print provider offering pre-press, offset and digital printing, finishing, and mailing
services.

BOSS & HUGHES, in Houston, TX, has added Duplo’s DC-645 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser to their shop. Previously finishing such jobs as brochures,
business cards and postcards manually or through outsourced vendors, the all-in-one digital color finisher has enabled them to process their jobs
in-house and in a productive manner. “The DC-645 has definitely helped speed up production. Cutting and creasing is a breeze,” says Gaurav
Sood, chief executive officer at Boss & Hughes. “The bindery turnaround time has greatly improved and we’re happy to have Duplo as an asset.”
The machine was sold and installed directly by Duplo USA. Boss & Hughes is a full service commercial printer serving businesses, schools, and
medical offices in the greater Houston area for over 40 years.

Asha Sood (left), owner of Boss & Hughes, and Iman Shahkarami, operator, with their DC-645.

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE (LMI), located in McLean, VA, is now producing their signature booklets with one of Duplo’s near-line
bookletmaking systems. Suited for their digital finishing needs, the system consists of the DSF-2000 Sheet Feeder, the high production DBM-500
Bookletmaker, the Slit/Cut/Crease (SCC) unit, and the ASM-500 Square Spine module. Before installing the system, jobs were completed on a
bookletmaker from another manufacturer and manually scored. “The age of the machine and the ability to get parts for the machine were the key
drivers for the upgrade,” comments Warren Murray, offices services supervisor at LMI.

With a full-bleed bookletmaking system in place, LMI has saved time and increased their efficiency. “With the Slit/Cut/Crease unit, we no longer
have to manually score the covers for our signature booklets and it has eliminated the need to pre-trim the documents before binding,” adds
Murray. “And with the addition of the ASM-500, it gives us the ability to do a square bind for a perfect bound look.” The system was sold and
installed by Duplo dealer, Coleman One. LMI is a not-for-profit strategic consulting firm offering government leaders a range of management
services such as logistics, acquisition and financial management, organizational improvement, and policy support. Their broad client base includes
hundreds of government clients from agriculture and aerospace to defense and disaster relief.

Duplo USA Launches the DBMi Saddle System

Duplo USA has released the DBMi Saddle System, Duplo’s heaviest-duty collating and saddle stitching system, and it is now available in the
United States, Canada and Latin America. First introduced in the U.S. at Graph Expo 2011, the DBMi Saddle System is the first in its class to
produce letter landscape booklets with its ability to process 24” length sheets. Designed to handle both traditional offset work as well as shorter-
run digital jobs with equal ease and efficiency, the DBMi combines PC-based programming and intelligent feeding with superior scoring and folding
to producer thicker, flatter books up to 4,500 booklets per hour. What’s more, its modular design enables users to add three-knife trimming
capabilities with the optional DKT-200 Two-Knife Trimmer, which can also process 2-up applications, boosting its production up to 9,000 booklets
an hour.

The DBMi incorporates the new DSC-10/60i Suction Feed Collators, which feature Duplo’s patented dual fan technology and an Air Management
System (AMS) for consistent and reliable feeding. Using the Intelligent Multi-Bin Feeding (IMBF) feature, operators can feed multiple sheets from a
single bin and merge offset with digital output. The DBMi is programmed entirely from a PC via the PC Controller, making it simple for users to set
up jobs and manage the settings of both the collators and saddle stitcher. Customers can also operate the system remotely on their tablets or
smartphones using remote desktop applications.

“The DBMi is not just an ordinary saddle stitching system. It is the future of bookletmaking,” says Anthony Gandara, product manager at Duplo
USA. “With its ability to collate and perform intelligent multi-bin feeding, the DBMi gives customers the flexibility to effectively perform a wider
range of saddle stitched bookletmaking applications quicker and easier.”

Additionally, the DBMi can be configured with the new DSF-2200 Digital Sheet Feeder with or without the collators, making it possible to feed pre-
collated digital jobs and add 1D or 2D barcode reader kits for complete set integrity.

Want to Run Your Duplo Wirelessly? There is an App for That

Duplo USA announced during their open house event in April that their growing line of PC-based print finishing products, which use Duplo’s own
PC Controller or Job Creator software to set up jobs, can also be controlled directly from a tablet or smartphone, such as an iPad or iPhone. Using
any of the remote desktop applications already available, such as Splashtop Touchpad, customers can access the software on their PC or Mac
from their mobile computing device through their Wi-Fi network and run their equipment wirelessly.

For the past several years, Duplo – a worldwide leading manufacturer of print finishing equipment - has developed and integrated their software
into some of their latest equipment, enabling operators of any skill level to program the machine quickly and easily. The DBMi Saddle System and
the high production DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser feature the Windows-based PC Controller, which is also available for selected near-line
bookletmaking systems configured with the DSF-5000 or the new DSF-2200 Digital Sheet Feeder. The Job Creator comes standard with the DC-
645 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser and can be added to the entry-level DC-615 model, giving operators the option to set up the system from the control
panel or through a PC or Mac.

“We’re always looking for ways to increase the automation and ease of use of our solutions as well as other technology our customers can use to
add efficiency to their operations,” says Si Nguyen, director of national business development at Duplo USA. “We’re all becoming increasingly
adaptable to the ever-changing technology around us and nowadays, almost everybody owns a tablet or a smartphone. We’re excited that
thanks to our integration of GUI technology into our finishing equipment early on, customers can now use such devices as their smartphones to
control their Duplo wirelessly.”

Applications use remote technology and the local wireless network to find the computer, so the app must be downloaded on both the PC
connected to the Duplo machine and the mobile device. Customers are encouraged to try any of the apps available on the App Store. Most
applications require minimal setup, are simple to use, and support keyboard and mouse gestures.

Duplo ULTRA 200/A UV Coater Receives UL Approval

UL Mark certifies product complies with industry safety standards

Santa Ana, Calif. (April 20, 2012) – The Ultra 200/A UV Coater and the SF-200 Suction Feeder, distributed by Duplo USA Corporation, have
received the seal of approval from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and have been issued the coveted UL mark. It indicates the products met
rigorous safety standards for use in printing environments and were found in compliance with U.S. requirements. The Ultra 200/A was also
evaluated for applicable Canadian requirements and has been issued the ULC mark.

“The UL mark is the most trusted safety certification in North America and we’re excited the Ultra 200/A UV Coater has been determined to be in
compliance,” says Peng Chou, product manager at Duplo USA. “It is very difficult for UV coaters to receive UL approval. UV coaters require high
heat and sheets can be prone to catching on fire if safety standards are not met. All components of the Ultra 200/A, including electrical, were
thoroughly tested and evaluated and print providers can be rest assured with the product and their operator’s safety.”

The Ultra 200/A UV Coater applies high quality glossy or satin finish to a variety of offset and digitally printed pieces, enhancing the richness of its
colors as well as protecting them from scratches and scuffing. Providing the same functionality as the Ultra 200, the Ultra 200A comes standard
with the SF-200 Suction Feeder for feeding high volume jobs and features innovative technology to accomplish a smear-free finish when coating
the two sides of the document. Both the Ultra 200 and Ultra 200A UV Coaters provide the utmost safety throughout the entire process with
numerous detection sensors in place while the UV lamp’s ventilation draws out heat from the main chamber providing safe operating temperatures
at all times. All Ultra UV Coaters are also CE certified.

offering an enhanced range of speed, versatility, and overall productivity.

PRODUCT DEBUTS & HIGHLIGHTS
Debuting for the very first time in the United States will be Duplo’s high-speed saddlestitch bookletmaking
system, the Alpha Saddle; the fastest and most versatile digital color finisher, DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser;
and the new and improved air-fed digital printing system, DP-U950. Also on exhibit will be the new Ultra 200
UV Coater; the DKT-200 Two Knife Trimmer in-line with a DSF-5000 Document Sheet Feeder and
DBM-500/T Bookletmaker and Trimmer, the DFS-3500 Full-Bleed Bookletmaking System, and the DC-645
Integrated Folding System.

The Alpha Saddlestitcher
One of Duplo’s newest and most exciting products to be revealed at ON DEMAND is the Alpha Saddle, its
ully automatic, heavy-duty saddlestitch bookletmaker and the first in its class to offer unrivaled performance
with A.P.C. “Automatic Precision Control,” flexibility, and high productivity. The high speed Alpha Saddle
demonstrates superb accuracy and versatility with the ability to produce up to 6,000 books per hour.
Offering numerous features not available with traditional flat sheet bookletmakers, its 3-knife trimming and
saddlestitching modules produce superior, full-bleed flat books.

The Alpha Saddle is designed with a unique and highly productive method of moving collated sets onto the
saddle. Each parallel tower configuration has its own individual set transfer unit and folder and scoring unit
allowing for two complete sets to be transported simultaneously onto the saddle. Folded and scored sets are
then accurately and precisely transferred onto the moving saddle by a belt and finger system, with no risk of
losing set registration even when feeding from multiple towers.

The Alpha’s flexible, modular design also allows it to be configured as needed with optional units such as the
gutter cutter for 2-up applications and a pre-collated sheet feeder, making it ideal for traditional offset and
digital printers alike. With the capability to produce a maximum of 12,000 books an hour when the gutter
cutter is installed, the Alpha meets the demands of high volume users. Its intuitive color touch screen

DIGITAL SYSTEM 5000 PRO WITH DKT-200 TWO KNIFE TRIMMER
Duplo’s new DKT-200 Two Knife Trimmer will be shown for the first time in a near-line sheet feeding and
bookletmaking configuration. The fully automatic Digital System 5000 Pro, configured with a DSF-5000
High Speed Sheet Feeder, DBM-500/T Bookletmaker and Trimmer, and the DKT-200 Two-Knife Trimmer,
is the ideal solution for high volume, full-bleed digital applications. The DSF-5000 accurately feeds sheets
ranging from 4.75” x 8.5” to 14” x 20” at up to 400 sheets per minute into Duplo’s DBM-500 Bookletmaker
for precision folding and stitching. Once the book is face trimmed in the DBM-500T, the DKT-200 removes
the head and foot for a quality, finished book. A simple straight paper path design allows the DKT-200 to
easily finish books at speeds up to 4,500 books per hour, all in a small footprint of less than 38 inches in
width. For added versatility, print providers can add an optional 3-hole punch or a gutter cutter for 2-up
applications, doubling their production in no time. With complete automation, the system can be set up
and running jobs in less than 5 minutes.

DFS-3500 Full-Bleed Bookletmaking System
The DFS-3500 Bookletmaking System provides an affordable solution for completely finishing full-bleed booklets
in a single pass. Ideal for short-run applications, the system integrates the stitching, folding, and trimming
capabilities of the mid-range DBM-350/T Bookletmaker and Trimmer with the slitting and creasing functionalities

8.5” x 11” finished booklets of up to 80 pages.

DC-645 Integrated Folding System
The DC-645 Integrated Folding System extends the capability of the DC-645 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser even
further. Incorporating an in-line knife folder, the DC-645 Integrated Folding System not only slits, cuts, and
creases but also folds digitally-printed applications in a single pass. Utilizing two knife folds, the DC-645
Integrated Folding System folds five of the most common fold types, including single, letter, Z, gate, and
double parallel, along with an infinite number of custom folds or it can be bypassed for no fold applications.
The finished documents are then stacked in a 15.75” capacity stacker specifically designed to neatly
stack and retain even heavier jobs such as folded card stocks.

By incorporating folding into the single system operation, the DC-645 Integrated Folding System removes the
bottleneck of the finishing process and allows printers to custom fold a variety of applications such as greeting
cards, folded ‘tent’ business cards, brochures and much more. The entire system is programmed from the
DC-645’s control panel meaning all configurations are simple to set up and easy to adjust to suit customer
requirements.

Ultra 200 UV Coater
The Ultra 200 is Duplo’s newest model to join its Ultra line of UV Coaters. A perfect alternative to the fully
automatic Ultra 145A and Ultra 205A, the semi-automated Ultra 200 offers printers a user-friendly, affordable
solution for their UV coating needs. Adding a superior glossy or satin finish to both offset and digitally-printed

Duplo USA Enters into an OEM Agreement for Ultimate's Barcode Technology, Raising the Bar on Automation

Duplo USA Corporation reaches an agreement with Ultimate Technographics Inc. to distribute an OEM
version of Impostrip OnDemand Digital Automation with complete barcode functionalities under Duplo’s
brand name. The Duplo Barcode Generator powered by Impostrip OnDemand will allow Duplo users to
eliminate manual make-readies on Duplo machines equipped with barcode OMR scanners. A time limited
version of the product will begin its journey with every DC-645 and DC-615 slitting/cutting/creasing solution
shipped from Santa Ana, California beginning mid December. At the same time, Duplo USA will extend this
offer to all DC-645 and DC-615 current users.

Automation out of the box
Si Nguyen, director of marketing, Duplo USA Corporation, says: “We are quite excited to team up with the
imposition leader Ultimate Technographics to introduce the Duplo Barcode Generator to all our customers.
This tool will be a significant production enhancement in two areas: automation and quality. Thanks to the
barcode scanner built-in each Duplo machine, customers will be able to generate all the necessary elements
to get top notch quality, reduce waste and time and get full return on their investment quickly, whether they
are offset or digital printers.”

Duplo Barcode Generator does more
The Duplo Barcode Generator is a simple way to set jobs in prepress to streamline printing and finishing
production. From the moment you drop a PDF into Duplo Barcode Generator pre-set hot folders you can
expect this job to go to print automatically imposed with the necessary barcode and other elements that will
perform automatic make-readies on the Duplo machine and with perfect registration each time.

Joanne David, President-CEO of Ultimate says, “Today operators are asked to be multi-tasking but that comes
at a certain price, meaning that machines can stay idle when the operator is dealing with a problem, thus
affecting efficiency and the delivery schedule. This OEM agreement reflects Duplo and Ultimate’s vision to
offer a simple automated process that guarantees that each printed sheet is perfectly slit/cut/creased,
eliminating the need for an operator to set the machine and to verify the quality or to make further adjustments
along the way when offset is significant from one printed sheet to another.’’

Duplo Spearheads Finishing Market with new Knife Folding Option for its Versatile Crease Product Range

Duplo Corporation has extended the inline capabilities of its popular DC-645/DC-615 slitter/cutter/creaser and
DC-445 creaser range by adding a knife fold attachment to the single system operation. With the new
Integrated Folding System, printers can now fully finish different applications such as greeting cards,
CD covers, folded ‘tent’ business cards, brochures, leaflets and many more without additional operators.

The knife folder incorporates two knife folds making it ideal for parallel fold applications such as letter and gate
folds. With a speed of up to 50 sheets per minute, the new folder matches the capabilities of Duplo’s creasers
and can also be by-passed for no-fold applications.

The Integrated Folding System can also incorporate other elements such as a cross-and straight-conveyor
as well as simple and more sophisticated high capacity stackers specifically designed to neatly stack and
retain even heavier jobs such as folded card stock. The cross-conveyor version keeps single batch outputs
In sequence for applications such as photos, coupons and personalized direct mail.

The modular range enables customers to configure as many as 26 different arrangements to suit their
individual requirements and match the flexibility of jobs that can be run on the Duplo range of finishers for
digital color print. As a result, the Integrated Folding System can easily handle items printed in multiple-up
formats, making it suitable for general commercial folding applications as well as sorting requirements for
sequentially printed jobs.

Comments Si Nguyen, marketing director at Duplo USA Corporation: “Our DC-645/DC-615 slitter/cutter/creaser
and the DC-445 creaser have been extremely successful in the growing Print on Demand market. Companies
need to do small jobs very quickly and accurately so it’s vital that margins gained during the printing process
will not be lost in the finishing department. By adding a conveyor, folder and stacker option to our creaser
product range, the flexible Integrated Folding System allows printers to automate the complete job set-up from
one point and finish work in one pass with only one operator, resulting in considerable cost savings.”

Duplo’s Creaser Range
The flexibility of Duplo’s creaser and slitter/cutter/creaser machines means that all jobs are simple to set up
and easy to adjust to suit customer requirements.

DC-645 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser
The DC-645 has been recognized as a top quality digital finishing unit by many leading digital print companies,
especially those producing photo and web-2-print related applications. It offers high quality slitting, cutting and
creasing in a single pass while also opening the finishing process to networked management through JDF
connectivity. This makes the DC-645 an ideal machine for a progressive printer looking to future-proof an
investment, while being able to meet any requirements for short run and fast turnaround print production.

The vacuum-fed DC-645 automatically sets up the tooling to a printed registration mark by using its built-in
camera, compensating for the common problem of image drift. This ensures that each processed sheet is
finished accurately and that it slits, cuts, creases and perforates in precisely the right place, reducing waste
and ensuring high quality and optimum output. In addition, an air knife lifts and separates each individual
sheet to eliminate the problem of static and facilitates mark-free processing. The heavy duty DC-645 is capable
of handling up to 26 sheets per minute and can accommodate a wide range of paper weights, ranging from
110 to 350gsm.

DC-615 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser
The versatile DC-615 provides a multi-functional finishing solution in one compact, easy-to-use package.
Slitting, cutting and creasing digitally printed sheets in one pass, the DC-615 delivers efficient output with
minimum operator intervention, resulting in a reduction of waste and production costs.

The easy to use 80 job memory and PC based WYSIWYG programming minimize down time and training
requirements. A waste collection bin keeps operation tidy while a 100mm capacity feeder allows unattended
operation. An optional CCD camera will automatically read each sheet, recalling the correct program from
memory and then applying any adjustments necessary for image drift.

DC-445 Creaser
Ideal for the short run digital color print market, the cost-effective, fully automatic DC-445 provides an
essential solution to the problem of toner cracking on digitally printed work when folded. Capable of applying
up to 15 creases in one pass and with a speed of up 50 sheets per minute, the DC-445 Creaser can handle
the output of most digital presses.

Duplo Increases Finishing Options with New PUR Perfect Binder

Duplo USA Corporation has launched a new high production perfect binder with PUR functionality to add
to its existing single clamp fully automatic perfect binder range. Debuted for the first time at drupa last year,
the DPB-500 PUR Perfect Binder is ideal for short to medium run perfect bound books printed digitally or on
coated stocks.

Producing a strong and flexible finish, the DPB-500 PUR is suitable for a wide range of applications such as
text books, annual reports, art books, instruction manuals or photo books.

Designed for use with a closed glue tank system which is manufactured by Nordson, the DPB-500 PUR
offers huge cost and productivity benefits compared to open-tank systems as it does not require draining
after each use which means less wastage and downtime. Closed tank systems are also not affected by
dust or airborne particles and do not require the installation of fume extraction.

Just like Duplo’s standard-adhesive DPB-500 Perfect Binder, it runs at speeds of up to 525 cycles an hour,
making it an extremely efficient product. The DPB-500 PUR is capable of binding a wide range of materials
with a maximum booklet size of 14.17” x 12.60” and a minimum size of 4.72” x 4.72”. Cover sheet sizes range
from 14.17” x 27.40” and 4.72” x 9.84”.

Comments Si Nguyen, director of marketing, at Duplo USA Corporation, “The response to our
standard-adhesive DPB-500 Perfect Binder has been phenomenal and with the continuous increase
in the production of digitally produced books, introducing a PUR version was the next logical step as it’s
really the only 100% fail-safe solution for binding digital and coated stocks. We’re confident that we’re
offering the market one of the most advanced, high-end PUR binding systems which is perfect for short runs,
variable print and a variety of stock but which is also equally suitable for longer runs due to its high capacity
book production speeds.”

The DPB-500 PUR offers state-of-the-art automation to accommodate a range of specifications to set up a
job efficiently which in turn leads to a reduction in downtime and cost. The integrated touch-screen control
panel which can also be used to adjust the movements of the Nordson system, makes the DPB-500 PUR
very easy to use and results in a book-bound quality finish with minimal operator skills.

Concludes Mr. Nguyen, “Using PUR to bind provides an extremely secure book with greater pull and flex
strength that is more durable and can be opened flat without any risk of pages becoming detached even
under extreme temperatures. Offering the choice of PUR binding means that customers can choose the
right tool for the right job to maximize productivity and remain as competitive as possible.”

DSF-5000 can feed up to 400 sheets per minute, which is fed from a 24” high capacity pallet style paper tray.
Operators also benefit from automated job set up and changeover, as well as an intuitive, user-friendly PC
interface.

To demonstrate the versatility of the DSF-5000, Duplo is showcasing the DSF-5000 Document Sheet Feeder
in-line with the DBM-500 Bookletmaker and Trimmer. The benefits of Duplo’s modular approach allow printers
to add to the system as and when their requirements change.

Ultra 205A UV Coater
Duplo is also showing its fully automatic and user-friendly Ultra 205A UV Coater with optional SF-205A Feeder.
Delivering variable speeds between 32 to 120 feet per minute, the Ultra 205A cost-effectively adds quality,
high gloss or satin finishes to an array of offset and digitally printed documents up to 20.5” in width.

The Ultra 205A ensures overall quality of printed output is increased as more vibrancy and richness is added
to colors and hues, while ensuring protection from scratching and fingerprints. This makes the Ultra 205A
perfectly suited to applications such as book covers, calendars, business cards, brochures, posters and
mailers.

In addition, the compact Ultra 205A UV Coater enables easy set-up and operation and features a number of
efficiency enhancing attributes. These include a large and intuitive LCD touch screen panel which, via an
innovative troubleshooting diagram, allows users to quickly make adjustments. Users also benefit from a
self-centering and self-tensioning conveyor belt which automatically readjusts to keep output media neatly
stacked.

Further efficiencies are gained thanks to the Ultra 205A’s metering roller speed adjustment which evenly sets
the level of coating required, while the built-in self cleaning system ensures post-production labor is reduced.

over page position, bleeds, page-spread and scaling, marks and margins.

Once the photo pages have been printed on a Xerox DocuColor Digital Color Press, the output will then be
transferred to a number of Duplo finishing technologies to demonstrate the variety of finishing options and
versatility of web-to-print solutions.

“We wanted to present an interactive workflow to clearly demonstrate the power and significant productivity
benefits that can be delivered by a complete end-to-end print production,” explains Si Nguyen, Director of
Marketing at Duplo USA. “By teaming up with industry partners such as Digilabs and Ultimate, we’ve
provided a hands-on opportunity for visitors to experience just how simple it is to automate production, which
in turn offers significant cost savings by eliminating manual intervention and potential inputting errors.”

DC-645 Production Color Finisher with New Conveyor/Folder/Stacker
Duplo has added a knife folding option to the versatile DC-645 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser, thus hugely extending
the on-line capability of the production color finisher. By incorporating folding into the single system operation,
printers can now fully finish different applications such as greeting cards, folded ‘tent’ business cards,
brochures and much more.

The knife folder incorporates two knife folds making it also ideal for parallel fold applications such as letter
folds. With a speed of up to 50 sheets per minute, the new folder fully matches the capabilities of the DC-645

stacked in a 15.75” capacity stacker specifically designed to neatly stack and retain even heavier jobs
such as folded card stocks.

The flexibility of the DC-645 programming means that all configurations are simple to set up and easy to
adjust to suit customer requirements.

New PUR DPB-500 Perfect Binder
Duplo has extended its single clamp fully automatic DPB-500 Perfect Binder range by adding a PUR version,
making it ideal for short to medium run perfect bound books printed digitally or on coated stocks. PUR binding
provides an extremely secure result with its high pull-strength ensuring that each page is firmly bound and can
be opened flat without any risk of pages becoming detached.

The closed tank system offers huge cost and productivity benefits compared to open-tank systems, as it
does not require draining after each session which incurs wasted material and downtime.

Just like Duplo’s standard-adhesive DPB-500 Perfect Binder, it runs at speeds of up to 525 cycles an hour,
and is capable of binding a wide range of materials with a maximum booklet size of 14.17” x 12.60” and
minimum size of 4.72” x 4.72”. Cover sheet sizes range from 4.72” x 9.84” and 14.17” x 27.40”.

The versatility of the fully automated DPB-500 results in a reduction in set-up times and costs, making it
perfect for short run and variable print, while its high capacity book production speeds make it equally
suitable for longer runs. One of the machine’s key attributes is its easy-to-use integrated touch-screen
controls, which facilitates a 35 second set-up between programs, resulting in a book-bound quality finish
with minimal operator skills.

New System 3500 Bookletmaking System
At Graph Expo, Duplo will also introduce the mid-range System 3500 which incorporates up to two DC-10/60
collators with the new DBM-350/T bookletmaker and trimmer. The fully-automatic DBM-350 bookletmaker/
trimmer fits between Duplo’s established low-end bookletmaker DBM-120/T and its high-end counterpart the
DBM-500/T and, as such, provides an alternative according to production requirements and budgetary needs.
Offering stitching heads, speeds of up to 3,000 books an hour, and fully automated set-up, the DBM-350/T is
an extremely productive and professional solution. The flexible bookletmaker easily accommodates a range

ultra-low energy use, with a built-in book scanner designed to meet the needs of quick printers as well as the
office environment. This new model features High Resolution Imaging (HRi), which is achieved through the
combination of master material, high carbon soy ink and quality thermal print heads resulting in outstanding
quality output with rich, unbroken solid print.

Offering superb paper handling via its three wheel feeding system, the DP-J450 offers economical printing of
up to 120 pages per minute, with the cost-per-copy decreasing rapidly as the print quantity increases. In
addition, its range of 12 standard inks and optional spot color matching service ensures all color copying
options are catered for. USB 2.0 connectivity is also optional, allowing direct connection to PC and
Mac-based platforms.

Ultra 205A UV Coater
Duplo is also showing its fully automatic and user-friendly Ultra 205A UV Coater with optional SF-205A
Feeder. Delivering variable speeds between 32 to 120 feet per minute, the Ultra 205A cost-effectively
adds quality, high gloss or satin finishes to an array of offset and digitally printed documents up to 20.5” in width.

Users also benefit from a
self-centering and self-tensioning conveyor belt which automatically readjusts to keep output media
neatly stacked.

Further efficiencies are gained thanks to the Ultra 205A’s metering roller speed adjustment which evenly sets
the level of coating required, while the built-in self cleaning system ensures post-production labor is reduced.

New Technology Previews
DuWrap Polywrapping Unit
At drupa 2008, the Digital System 5000’s capability is being further extended by adding a mail fulfilment
function to the bookletmaking process and as such further adding value to a customer’s business. The Duplo
DuWrap, a polywrapping unit, is connected to the Digital System 5000 to demonstrate the complete production
of a booklet and mailing solution in one system.

Two applications are being on the Duplo stand: A bar-code driven personalised investment report and an
investment booklet combined with a variable data single address. Both applications will run through the
DSF-2000, SCC and DBM-500/T bookletmaking line and into the DuWrap where a transparent polywrap film
will envelop them ready for mailing. Job tracking and auditing will be performed by a camera-based vision
system from Böwe Bell & Howell.

DC-645 Production Colour Finisher with New Conveyor/Folder/Stacker
For the first time, Duplo is adding a knife folding option to the versatile DC-645 slitter, cutter, creaser, thus
hugely extending the online capability of the production colour finisher. By incorporating folding into the single
system operation, printers can now fully finish different applications such as greeting cards, folded ‘tent’
business cards, brochures, leaflets and many more.

The knife folder incorporates two knife folds making it also ideal for parallel fold applications such as letter
folds. With a speed of up to 50 sheets per minute, the new folder fully matches the capabilities of the DC-645
and can also be by-passed for no-fold applications from the DC-645.

The finished documents are then collected in a 400mm capacity stacker specifically designed to neatly stack
and retain even heavier jobs such as folded card stock.

At drupa, Duplo is presenting the DC-645 in a straight conveyor/folder/stacker configuration, however,
ultimately the company will offer a modular range of configurations including cross-and straight-conveyors as
well as simple and more sophisticated stackers. The cross-conveyor version will keep single batch outputs in
sequence for applications such as photos and coupons. The flexibility of the DC-645 programming means that
all configurations are simple to set up and easy to adjust to suit customer requirements.

New Product Launches
DSF-5000 High Speed Dynamic Sheet Feeder
An addition to the Duplo dynamic sheet feeder family and next-level option to the established DSF-2000,
Duplo’ s new DSF-5000 modular high speed, production level feeder offers a number of enhanced benefits to
give greater productivity for near-line finishing and bookletmaking solutions.

Responding to the needs of both the colour market as well as the higher volume black & white cut sheet
markets, the DSF-5000 can support the printed output of multiple printers without compromising print
production and offers high speed, reliable feeding of a variety of substrates with both ultrasonic double and
optical double detection for improved accuracy and reduced waste by preventing the processing of incorrect
sets.

In addition, its Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) and barcode readers offer greater versatility in handling
variable and personalised print finishing.

The new belt suction feeder, integral buffer and enhanced sheet separation facilities enables consistent and
reliable feeding of a variety of substrates at high speeds. The DSF-5000 can feed up to 400 sheets per minute,
which is fed from a 610mm high capacity pallet style paper tray. Operators also benefit from automated job set
up and changeover, as well as an intuitive, user-friendly PC interface.

To demonstrate the versatility of the DSF-5000, Duplo is showcasing the Digital System 5000 Pro
bookletmaking line incorporating two DSF-5000 sheet feeders in a tandem configuration as well as a new
twin bin Cover Feeder, a DBM-500 Bookletmaker and Trimmer.

The benefits of Duplo’s modular approach allow printers to add to the system as and when their requirements
change. As a result, a solution might incorporate one DSF-5000 for high capacity feed stock or an extra
DSF-5000 – a tandem system for maximising productivity as one DSF-5000 could be running while another is
re-loaded. Cover stocks could be placed in this second unit, or in the new twin-bin Cover Feed module.

The DSF-5000 can also be combined with Duplo’s versatile SCC slit, cut, crease module to the configuration,
which deals with issues of trimming off full bleed print as well as managing digital print cracking problems.

PUR DuBinder
In response to customers’ demand, at drupa, Duplo is extending its single clamp fully automatic DuBinder range
by adding a PUR version, making it ideal for short to medium run perfect bound books printed digitally or on
coated stocks. PUR binding provides an extremely secure result with its high pull-strength ensuring that each
page is firmly bound and can be opened flat without any risk of pages becoming detached.

The closed tank system offers huge cost and productivity benefits compared to open-tank systems, as it does
not require draining after each session which incurs wasted material and downtime. Just like Duplo’s standard-
adhesive DPB500 DuBinder, it runs at cycling speeds of up to 525 books an hour, and is capable of binding a
wide range of materials with a maximum booklet size of 360 x 320mm and minimum size of 120 x 120mm. Cover
sheet sizes range from 360 x 696mm and 120 x 250mm.

The versatility of the fully automated DuBinder results in a reduction in set-up times and costs, making it perfect
for short run and variable print, whilst its high capacity book production speeds make it equally suitable for
longer runs. One of the machine’s key attributes is its easy-to-use integrated touch-screen controls, which
facilitates a 35 second set-up between programmes, resulting in a book-bound quality finish with minimal
operator skills.

DBM 350/T Mid-Range Bookletmaker
Duplo is also using drupa to introduce a new fully-automatic mid-range bookletmaker/trimmer which fits
between Duplo’s established low-end bookletmaker DBM-120/T and its high-end counterpart the
DBM-500/T and as such provides an alternative according to production requirements and budgetary needs.
Offering stitching heads, speeds of up to 3,000 books an hour, and fully automated set-up, the DBM-350/T is
an extremely productive and professional solution. The flexible bookletmaker easily accommodates a range of
on-demand applications such as CD and DVD covers through to A4 and A3 booklets of up to 80 pages.

The ability of the DBM-350/T to handle set-by-set and sheet-by-sheet output with equal ease means that it can
be connected to Duplo’s collating systems or dynamic sheet feeders, making it ideal for printers making the
transition from offset to digital, allowing them to incorporate colour content and variable data into their finishing
solutions.

Ultra 205A UV Coater
drupa will also see Duplo International introduce its fully automatic and user-friendly Ultra 205A UV Coater with
optional SF-205A Feeder. Delivering variable speeds of between 9m to 36.5m per minute, the Ultra 205A
cost-effectively adds high quality, glossy sheen, matte and satin finishes to an array of offset and digitally
printed documents up to 521mm in width. The Ultra 205A ensures overall quality of printed output is increased
as more vibrancy and richness is added to colours and hues, while ensuring protection from scratching and
fingerprints. This makes the Ultra 205A perfectly suited to applications such as book covers, calendars, business
cards, brochures, posters and mailers.

In addition, the compact Ultra 205A UV Coater enables easy set-up and operation and features a number of
efficiency enhancing attributes. These include a large and intuitive LCD touch screen panel which, via an
innovative troubleshooting diagram, allows users to quickly make adjustments. Users also benefit from a
self-centering and self-tensioning conveyor belt which automatically readjusts to keep output media neatly
stacked.

Further efficiencies are gained thanks to the Ultra 205A’s metering roller speed adjustment which evenly
sets the level of coating required, while the built-in self cleaning system ensures post-production labour is
reduced.

UJ-500AS Anti-Static Jogger
Designed to drastically improve sheet feeding and combat common problems, such as sheets sticking together
due to static, Duplo International has launched its new UJ-500AS anti-static ionised jogger. The machine
efficiently jogs and separates sheets in paper stacks, which can then be loaded into printers, collators, folders,
cutters and more, and with a small footprint it can be used in any printing or post-printing environment.

Jogging uneven paper stacks with the UJ-500AS prior to loading in print or finishing equipment will noticeably
help eliminate feed errors, such as a miss or double feed. Furthermore, the jogger’s unique rapid speed vibration
system and ionised air-assisted blowing, effectively reduces static electricity, which is particularly common with
digitally printed sheets. It also helps prevent ink residue or set-off, aligns edges and the air blower even assists
in drying ink.

Handling paper sizes ranging from 120 x 146mm to 328 x 427mm, the UJ-500AS has a paper loading capacity
of up to 480 sheets of 80 gsm. The jogging strength and air volume is fully adjustable according to paper type
and static levels and the machine can operate under various settings, such as air only, jogger only or reset
timer operation. The jogger also incorporates a time interval mode, which continuously jogs paper stacks for a
preset period after the air has stopped.

Mini Friction Collating & Bookletmaking
As part of its new friction fed collating range, Duplo is previewing for the first time the 10-station DFC-100
and 12-station DFC-120 Mini Collators designed for the entry level market. With a host of new improved
features such as speeds of 70 sets per minute, the Mini Collators boost productivity and are ideal for smaller
print houses, In-plants and offices.

In addition, the higher stacking capacity, improved feed roller designs, neater stacking alignment and new
control panels make the Mini Collators even more productive, user-friendly and reliable. The versatile Mini
Friction Collators can also be linked to a second tower to make a 20 station or 24 station model as well as a
Duplo DBM-120/T Dynamic Bookletmaker to enable full inline bookletmaking for added value finishing.

Versatility and Modularity at drupa 2008
Concludes Sally Dobinson, head of product marketing at Duplo International: “We’re delighted with our wide

optimized according to paper type and weight, extended feed and receiving trays and user-friendly LCD display.
Optional modular features that can be easily included into the Creaser unit include an Air Knife to increase feed
consistency and reduce static, an Ultrasonic Double Detection Sensor to detect double feeding as well as
Center Slitters and Perforator Wheels.

Si Nguyen, product marketing manager at Duplo USA says, "This is a great addition to our range of Digital Color
Document Finishers which includes the top of the line DC-645 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser for high volume digital print
finishing and the new DC-615 model."

"The new DC-445 Creaser delivers a range of creasing solutions for creative finishing of a range of promotional
and direct mail items such as flyers and brochures, as well as a number of optional functions such as perforating
and cutting, which makes it an extremely versatile solution."

Also on display at Graph Expo 2007 will be the Duplo DC-615, designed specifically to meet the increasing
demands of shorter run digital color print. The DC-615 provides a multi-functional finishing solution in one compact,
easy to use package combining the functions of slitting, cutting and creasing digitally printed sheets in one single
pass. In addition, it delivers efficient output with minimum operator intervention, resulting in a reduction in waste
and production costs.

Capable of handling heavier substrates up to 300 gsm and a wide variety of sheet sizes, the DC-615 offers an
intelligent and intuitively useable solution suited to a range of finishing applications such as business cards,
postcards, greeting cards, photo books, and much more.

Comments Si Nguyen, product marketing manager at Duplo USA: "There has been a significant increase in the
number of printers producing medium volume digital color print and we are aware that they needed a versatile
finishing solution to meet their needs. We have also seen greater demand for a compact, multi-functional digital
finishing solution in the photo book market and the DC-615 is just the right product to handle the finishing
requirements for this growing sector."

In addition to delivering an accurate, professional finish the DC-615 has a large operator screen which allows
the operator to quickly access and review up to 80 memorized jobs at the touch of a button without having to
re-enter any information. An option that has proven very popular with users of the DC-645 is the user-friendly Job

Graphics of the Americas in Miami, Florida February 4 - 6, 2005. Featured at the Duplo USA booth will be a
variety of equipment ranging from tabletop folders to heavy-duty collating and bookletmaking systems.

"Duplo has been attending Graphics of the Americas for over ten years, so we feel this is an important show
for Duplo and the Latin American market. We’re excited to present show attendees with finishing and digital
duplicating systems that will truly satisfy their needs for cost-effective, productive solutions," said Duplo
tradeshow coordinator Katherine Chen.

System 5000 Collating and Bookletmaking System

Duplo’s most heavy-duty and top of the line finishing system produces up to 10,000 collated sets and 5,000
booklets per hour. Designed specifically for printers in need of a finishing system that accepts both offset and
digitally printed output, the System 5000 bookletmaker accepts both set by set and sheet by sheet output with
no adjustment or extra parts needed. The System 5000 includes a multitude of automated features that reduce
set up time and downtime and make changing from job to job simple for novice operators.

DP-205 Tabletop Digital Duplicator

The DP-205 was designed to satisfy the Latin American market. This compact machine offers low cost, high
quality, and fast printing at the touch of a button. Speed and quality is not compromised as this easy to use

are available for spot color applications. The DP-205 is ideal for any business or organization seeking a fast,
cost-effective printing solution.

DF-920 Sound Reduced Automatic Folder

Duplo’s DF-920 fully automatic tabletop folder features six popular pre-programmed folds and a multitude of
custom folds at speeds up to 280 sheets per minute. Unique sound absorbers ensure quiet operation for any
business environment. The DF-920 automatically recognizes five popular paper sizes and features a 500-sheet
capacity automatic elevating feed tray. The patented feed system ensures reliable feeding and accurate folds
for a wide range of paper sizes, weights, and stocks. A batch mode allows the operator to input the exact
number of sheets to be folded in each batch and select between a 3-, 5-, or 10-second delay in between each
batch.

DC-545HC Slitter/Cutter/Creaser

The DC-545HC is a versatile finishing solution for the short-run on-demand market that automatically slits, cuts,
and creases a document in a single pass. The DC-545HC removes unattractive white borders left by digital
printers and avoids cracked spines with the special creasing unit. The DC-545HC features a barcode reader
that enables the system to recall pre-programmed jobs, thus automatically providing up to six slits, ten cuts,
and four creases in a single pass. The registration mark recognition feature compensates for the common
problem of image shift and eighty memory settings allow instant access to a multitude of commonly used jobs.
Achieve professional quality, full bleed business cards, greeting cards, invitations, brochures, catalogs,
posters, book covers, photographs and more.
