Anyone who has had hardware compatibility issues when trying to connect with software knows how frustrating it can be. When it happens at home, it’s annoying. When it happens in your business, it wastes time and money.
The team at Kodak Alaris is committed to finding better ways for software companies and device manufacturers to ensure products and solutions work, right out of the box. ISV Alliance members receive personalized support to ensure that the software they develop performs as intended. The support ranges from technical advice and loaner equipment to sales and marketing tools and lead generation campaigns.
“By using Kodak Alaris’ ISV Alliance Program, PaperWise was able to completely test both our software and customer business process before the KODAK i4200 Scanner (kodakalaris.com/go/i4000news) was delivered to La Cabana Beach Resort and Casino in Aruba. Our development team was able to create the same environment in our lab, which helped make the customer start-up smooth and error-free,” said Eric Wubbena, PaperWise Director of Partner Development. PaperWise provides software and technology solutions that enable organizations to improve efficiencies and expedite workflow.
PaperWise is just one of several companies actively participating in the ISV Alliance Program that has introduced specific products as a result. DocuWare, Digitech, Hyland, and Ademero also have taken advantage of Kodak Alaris’ ISV Alliance Program to develop and market complementary solutions for the KODAK SCANMATE i1180 (kodakalaris.com/go/scanmatei1180news) Scanner, a new desktop scanner with embedded image processing and reduced PC processing/speed requirements, which eliminates the need for a high-end computer. Other ISV partners are currently testing the KODAK i5850 Scanner, a new production scanner capable of quickly processing large quantities of paper at 210 pages per minute, while maintaining superb image quality and low total cost of ownership.
“Our goal with the ISV Alliance Program is to provide assistance to our software partners, both large and small, allowing them to bring dynamic solutions to market using Kodak Alaris’ technology,” said Tom Helmer, ISV Alliance Manager, Kodak Alaris. “Our customers want to be able to choose the best solutions to fit their needs, regardless of who developed it. Kodak Alaris provides ISVs with access to its technology, product roadmaps and technical expertise so they can bring to market a range of products that make our joint customers more productive.”
“The ISV Alliance program helped DocuWare run the new KODAK SCANMATE i1150 and i1180 Scanners through their testing paces, confirming they are compatible with our software and have the throughput we expected. This program gives our customers confidence and trust in DocuWare and Kodak Alaris’ technologies to help improve business process efficiencies every day,” said Steve Behm, DocuWare Vice President of Sales, Americas.
“The ISV Alliance program gives Hyland, creator of OnBase software, access to Kodak Alaris’ current and future scanners and technology. It’s important for OnBase customers using Kodak Alaris’ scanners to know that their solution is backed by two industry leaders,” said Michael Satterthwaite, Alliance Partner Marketing Manager for Hyland—one of the largest independent enterprise content management software companies in the world.
In addition to technical and marketing assistance, partners in the ISV Alliance Program receive briefings on current and future products to help them maintain their knowledge and prepare for opportunities on the horizon.
