Kodak Alaris has acquired the United States and Canada (US&C) service business of Eastman Park Micrographics (EPM). This strengthens Kodak Alaris’ ability to offer global services for document scanners, software and micrographics equipment. Outside the US&C, Kodak Alaris already provides service for EPM customers in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
“We have over 80 years’ experience providing service and support for document imaging customers,” said Dolores Kruchten, President of the Document Imaging division of Kodak Alaris. “We understand the technology behind capture, storage and data management. We also understand the importance of managing vital records such as official government documents, loan applications and insurance claims. And we’re in a great position to deliver our service and support to customers on a global scale.”
More than 7,000 customers in the US&C will transition to service provided by Kodak Alaris, including installation, maintenance and professional services.
“Kodak Alaris has a great track record of delivering service and support,” said William D. Oates, President and CEO, EPM. “This transaction ensures continued service excellence to customers, and allows EPM to maintain its focus on providing micrographics media and equipment to the growing preservation market.”
