DocuWare, ECM specialist and global leader in the industry, announces that as of January 1, 2015, Westbrook Technologies Inc. has been merged into DocuWare Corporation. This merger further integrates Westbrook Technologies into the DocuWare Group following their 2013 acquisition of the Connecticut based ECM specialist. Westbrook had operated as a subsidiary of DocuWare since the acquisition.
Effective with this merger, the Westbrook product line of Fortis and FortisBlue, are now part of the DocuWare product portfolio. Software Support and Professional Services teams are combined as well for expanded coverage. Further beneficial results of the merger appear in the DocuWare blog and website for resellers and customers of the newly merged companies.

Following the 2013 acquisition, the combination of both companies added more than 1,500 Westbrook customers to an already sizable base of DocuWare customers. It also expands DocuWare’s 500+ strong network of Authorized DocuWare Partners with over 40 experienced Westbrook resellers. The acquisition further substantiates DocuWare’s position as the leading global ECM vendor for mid-sized companies.
