The Association for Print Technologies (formerly NPES) unveils new innovations from PRIMIR, its research unit, that feature a new 2018 studies lineup, enhanced data visualization and actionable orientation, new partner organizations and deeper industry penetration to engage and benefit the entire print value chain. Formed in 2005, PRIMIR is the global source of data, analysis and trend information for the print and related graphics communications industries. PRIMIR produces over $500,000 in research, releasing six to eight studies annually, focused on topics recommended, prioritized and driven by the Association’s members.
In 2018, PRIMIR will continue to provide the in-depth and data rich research by which its known worldwide, but will enhance the data visualization, graphics and key takeaways in varying formats to meet the needs of all companies’ employees from CEOs, marketers and analysts to production teams throughout the value chain of OEMS, suppliers, printers, converters, agencies and brands. The new formats will be evident in the range of full and mini-studies, white papers, live and archived webinars, dynamic data dashboards, podcasts and study PowerPoint presentations—all combined to increase the actionable orientation and implementation of key research findings, implications, and recommendations for each segment of the value chain.
Recent partnerships with The VDMA Printing and Paper Technology Association of Germany for the “Worldwide Market for Print 2.0” study series in 2016-2017, and the “Worldwide Consumables” study in 2017, as well as the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) in “Food Packaging” research serves to broaden the depth of PRIMIR research quality and global distribution.
The newly rebranded and enhanced PRIMIR Insights Conference scheduled for July 18-20 in San Francisco, Calif., will build upon its legacy of providing breaking research and market data presentations, and will also feature insightful peer exchanges, interactive panels, and outside thought leaders and consultants focusing on a range of emerging trends, technologies, and applications. Representatives from the entire print value chain will convene for this business-focused industry education and networking event.
