This Spring, Xeikon held its second annual Xeikon Café North America event. From May 15 to 17, 2018, Xeikon customers, prospects, partners, and industry press and analysts convened at the Westin Chicago Northwest in Itasca, IL.
Benoit Chaterlard, president/CEO, digital solutions, Flint Group, presented opening comments. “Innovation is in the DNA of Xeikon.” He mentioned that while the company is in the toner business for the long run, they have more vision. They understand that data is increasingly important. “The reality is that companies have so much data in their processes. It’s not about the print engine, but the manufacturing process and how to integrate artificial intelligence into it. He says Xeikon is good at data, and its customers know the power of its workflow. “Innovation, agility, passion, and co-creation—this is what you can expect from Xeikon.”

Attendee Experience
The two-day conference featured a variety of presentations from industry analysts to customer panels, providing a wealth of information on the overall state of the industry and where Xeikon fits into the picture. Additionally, the event separated into two educational tracks—labels and packaging and graphic arts—to provide a deeper dive into the areas that affect these businesses.
A large part of the Xeikon Café is networking. Throughout the event, a Partner Fair was open to attendees, providing an opportunity to connect with vendors that support Xeikon products.
Attendees were also invited to take the short trip to Xeikon’s Innovation Center for product demonstrations.
North America Focus
The Xeikon Café is a way for customers, partners, packaging convertors, and print service providers to connect with Xeikon and each other. Throughout the experience, attendees are provided with knowledge spanning the various areas of digital print production in which Xeikon is invested.
