Recognizing this need, APR is proud to announce its innovative virtual training program designed specifically for the printing industry. We first implemented this program with two new hires, one completely new to flexographic printing and the other with some offset printing background. The difference it made was clear – they quickly gained a solid understanding of our equipment and processes. The program has lightened the load on our operators and schedule by covering the fundamental training, allowing our skilled operators to focus on their core responsibilities.
Also, FlexoAcademy isn’t just for our production floor staff. It’s a boon for our customer service team as well, who will be the next to undergo the program. It’s vital for them to have a thorough understanding of each aspect of the printing process to better serve our clients. FlexoAcademy training programs are offered in three ways. Participants can choose from an entirely online course, a blended learning approach combining online modules and instructor-led sessions. This flexibility ensures that each participant can find the most suitable learning experience.

In addition, the FlexoAcademy program has been approved for the TLMI scholarship program, providing converters with an opportunity to offset training costs and further encourage professional development within the industry.
