Today, BCC Software, a leader in postal preparation and address quality solutions, announced its newest offering, the Integratec™ API Platform, earned PAVE™ product certification from the United States Postal Service®.
The PAVE (Presort Accuracy, Validation, and Evaluation) program, designed in cooperation with the mailing industry, aims to evaluate presort software and determine its accuracy in sorting address files according to Domestic Mail Manuel (DMM®) standards. The Integratec API Platform is the only available PAVE certified API using the secure messaging layer, ZeroMQ™ with the CurveZMQ protocol, enabling Integratec to pass even the most stringent security requirements for mailers in industries like healthcare and finance. Without PAVE certification, mailers cannot access the workshare discounts offers by the USPS®.
“One of the differentiators of Integratec is its security,” said BCC Software President Chris Lien. “Because we are using these security protocols, we’re confident that we’ve launched to the market something that is unlike anything else in terms of security, extensibility, and integration capabilities.”
Integratec is built for modern IT environments. The modularity of the API Toolkit helps mail preparers by allowing them to expand from single machines to multiple machines – allowing additional hardware to be leveraged. Likewise, the scalability allows companies to process more jobs simultaneously.
The Presort Toolkit module of the Integratec API Platform was released Tuesday, June 7. The toolkit handles the presort process beginning to end and can be integrated into new or existing mail preparation workflows. With PAVE certification, BCC Software solidified Integratec’s position as the most robust presort API available.
