Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., today announced the conclusion of its second annual Anniversary Event, held February 9-11, commemorating the growth and advancement of the company in its second full year as an organization.
The event, held in Delray Beach, Florida, brought together esteemed industry analysts and reporters from around the country for an exclusive opportunity to learn more about the important relationship between Canon Solutions America and its customers. In addition, guests were treated to the premiere of significant company announcements that included a senior executive appointment, the renaming of the Business Services Division to Enterprise Managed Services Division, and the introduction of the Production Print Solutions division’s newest user group council, thINK.
“This event is very important to our company and reflects our commitment to enhancing our relationship with both our customers and valued members of the media,” said Toyo Kuwamura, president and CEO of Canon Solutions America. “Our goal is to emerge stronger than ever as a unified group, and to advance not only our company, but the industry as a whole. Events like these allow us to continue that push.”
During the three-day event, guests were invited to a series of presentations given by executive leaders from each division of Canon Solutions America. Attendees were given a comprehensive look into the company and its operations, while learning more about the different business units and their functions within the company. New developments on products were also included, giving guests a first-hand look into Canon Solutions America’s plans for the future as a print industry leader.
“It was extremely insightful and interesting to learn how key leadership throughout Canon Solutions America works with their customers to improve their businesses and provide successful results,” said Kemal Carr, president of Madison Advisors. “From beginning to end, the event emphasized this company’s commitment to its customers and helping them fully realize their goals.”
The announcement of the new Production Print Solutions user group, thINK, created significant excitement during the event as the division is primed to shape the industry with this unique customer partnership. On the large format side, guests heard from Kent Long, district manager of Thomas Printworks , who spoke of his company’s long-standing relationship with the Canon family of companies. Additionally, Long announced his company will soon operate solely with Canon equipment.
James Sharp, executive vice president, Professional Services, Canon Solutions America, enlightened the audience with an update on the company’s development in improving its customers’ productivity by optimizing workflow and providing best-in-class implementation services. Closing the first day of presentations was the introduction of the Enterprise Managed Services Division. Originally known as the Business Services Division, the renamed division focused on projecting its expansive portfolio of solutions and services.
A particular highlight of the event was the visit to the Customer Experience Center in Boca Raton. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of educational group presentations on some of the company’s most impressive and impactful products. This robust look into the devices was a way to emphasize the advancements Canon Solutions America has made with their large format, production print, and enterprise products and solutions.
