Xerox hosted its Color Reignited event at the Gil Hatch Center in Webster, NY from May 8 to 9, 2018. Nearly 120 customers as well as members of the press and industry analysts attended. The two-day affair highlighted the launch of Xerox’s Iridesse Production Press in addition to customer panels, one-on-one interviews, and keynote presentations.
Kicking off the second day of the event, Andrew Copley, president, graphic communication solutions, Xerox, and John Ahlman, VP, integrated marketing strategy and content, Xerox, discussed dynamic needs in the market including augmented reality, hyper-personalization, and strong fundamentals.
Ragni Mehta, VP/GM, cutsheet business, Xerox, highlighted increased demands for digital print enhancements including gold, silver, metallic, and clear effects.

Iridescent Palettes
Following the opening remarks, Xerox unveiled the new Iridesse Production Press. As a high-speed, six-station color press, the Iridesse combines four-color printing with up to two specialty dry inks in one printing pass.
“We created the press to produce these special effects and digital enhancements cost effectively and in a simplified workflow, so our customers can seize the market opportunity and grow their businesses,” comments Mehta.
Color Reignited
Xerox’s Color Reignited event highlighted the company’s ability to stay on trend with demands for advanced digital print enhancements. With the Iridesse Production Press, Xerox demonstrates its continued commitment to the printing industry.
