Affordable, flexible automation expert Enfocus has rolled out the 25.03 updates for its Griffin and Phoenix solutions.
The updates mean that Griffin now features waste dividers and supports the generation of Kongsberg JDF files, meaning it can replace Esko’s i-cut Layout software. Phoenix, meanwhile, offers full support for digitally cut reel-fed jobs thanks to new transition frame options, while also supporting JDF file export functionality. In addition, both solutions benefit from a host of performance and stability improvements.
John Murphy, Product Manager at Enfocus, said, “We’re committed to listening and responding to customer feedback to ensure our software adds the maximum possible value to our customers’ operations. The updates to Phoenix and Griffin deliver improved efficiency across a number of different use cases, cementing their place as the top nesting and imposition solutions for printers.
“Automation software should make print better and simpler, not more complex. By continually upgrading the capabilities of solutions like Phoenix and Griffin, we’ll continue to help printers save time and money on every run.”
The updates come hot on the heels of PitStop Pro’s 25.03 release, which added a host of new features, better performance, and a number of minor bug fixes to the market-leading PDF preflighting tool.
Griffin is a wide-format nesting powerhouse that offers automated nesting functionality, potentially saving hours during the prepress process. Phoenix is an imposition and planning tool that can optimise production scheduling to deliver optimal profitability. The 25.03 update for both solutions is available now.
