The International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking (IADD) will host its Midyear Leadership Retreat in Olympic Valley, CA, USA from May 11-13, 2022.
The IADD Midyear Leadership Retreat focuses on providing industry executives with the practical tools they need to succeed in our quickly changing and demanding economy. Expert led programming will provide innovative management theories and motivation to maximize the performance of owners, managers and staff and help industry leaders manage their businesses more effectively and more profitably.
The conference will be held at the Resort at Squaw Creek. The resort location is set in the mountains, reducing the hustle and bustle of the city to ensure attendees can escape their daily stressors and focus on both learning and leisure.
Registration for the event includes access to the welcome reception, one and a half days of programming and the leadership awards luncheon. IADD members register at the rate of $750 USD per attendee and non-members at the rate of $850 USD per attendee. “Personally, I am looking forward to seeing my colleagues in-person to reconnect, share experiences and most of all have fun!” says Gino Gualtieri, President of the IADD. “As we return to in-person events, we celebrate not only being together again, but also 50 years of IADD being an association.”
Leadership Development and “Hands-on” Programming
Laura Moriarty, President of Tahoe Training Partners, has been the architect of strategic planning, rebranding, core values alignment, talent development and innovative training environments in dozens of companies in the hospitality, retail and restaurant sectors, health care organizations, nonprofits, manufacturing, municipalities and government agencies since 2007. She will lead multi-session, interactive programs on “Communication Styles and Group Dynamics” and “Situation Leadership and Delegating for Results.” Attendees will then join teams to put concepts into practice with a corrugated boat building regatta. Additional presentations on hiring and training, along with an optional guided hike, round out the programming.
Recognizing Achievements
To honor and recognize exceptional leaders in the industry, IADD President, Gino Gualtieri of Central Die Supplies, Inc., will announce award recipients for the IADD Pillar Award and Presidential Award during the Leadership Luncheon on Thursday, May 12.
