UK software company, Taopix, has announced its intention to unveil a new personalized Calendar user journey at the upcoming IGAS and Dscoop events in Tokyo. IGAS will be held at the Big Sight venue from 11th – 16th September and Dscoop will run from 13th-15th September.
The new Calendar Designer will allow consumers to quickly create and order personalised calendars from a wide range of devices including smartphone, tablet and computer. Personal photos from mobile devices, local hard drives and sources such as Instagram and Facebook can be uploaded directly into a wide range of calendar styles. There’s also a useful new feature that will allow users to enter their own memorable dates that will be flowed automatically into the calendar.
Calendars will join an ever-growing suite of Taopix user journeys that currently includes photo books, quick books, single prints, themed products and single prints that will be shipped as part of the Taopix Online and/or Desktop platforms.
All personalised products offered through the Taopix platform can be designed and customised by print service providers looking to enter the lucrative personalised photo market, either in a B2B or B2C capacity.
Taopix CEO, James Gray commented: “Anyone who wishes to target the mobile user and who can partner with retailers or those in the leisure, celebration, travel and tourism industries should be looking at Taopix technology as the first step.”
“With the average smartphone user storing over 150 photos every month there is a huge opportunity to encourage them to make something tangible from their photos such as a photo book or wall canvas.”
Representatives from Taopix UK, Hong Kong, Japan and China will be on hand throughout the exhibition to answer any questions and give visitors some insights into how they can profit from the new mobile2print opportunity.
