Ricoh USA, Inc., and the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) today announced that the two will work together in preparation for and execution of IPMA 2016, the largest in-plant event for all sectors of the in-plant industry, taking place in Denver, Colo., June 20-24. Ricoh will serve as the event’s first Diamond Sponsor, providing a series of tours of the company’s nearby facilities, partner educational sessions and networking events.
This move not only provides an excellent opportunity for attendees to experience a hands-on look at some of the highest-performing print technologies in the market, but it also demonstrates the extent of Ricoh’s commitment to meeting with, understanding the pain points of, and serving in-plant printers. In Ricoh’s Customer Innovation Center, visitors will see a variety of devices running the kind of jobs in-plants complete every day. They will also have an opportunity to engage with Ricoh’s team of experts to discuss their specific business needs and concerns. Along with the Customer Innovation Center visit, learning sessions will be available to help attendees uncover new ways to improve operations and grow their business.
After an early lunch on Tuesday, June 21, a bus will be available to transport attendees to Ricoh’s nearby Customer Innovation Center. In addition to educational tour stops and free refreshments, the visit will include several options for informative sessions, including seminars and demonstrations. To help ensure each attendee has sufficient opportunity to learn and connect with their colleagues, the visits will be split into two groups – one for early afternoon, one later – which will reunite at the end of the day for a Boulder Restaurant Crawl, providing various networking opportunities as well as a variety of meal options.
“IPMA is a vital organization in our industry, and its team produces a unique event for in-plant printers across numerous verticals, all over the country,” said John Fulena, Vice President, Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh USA, Inc. “Trade events such as these help us to keep open lines of dialogue with organizations in the business segments we serve, so we can make sure we are not only aware of the challenges they face, but also that we are working with them, in ways they see as valuable, to address those challenges.”
