Kernow North America, the global leader in high performance print media, is proud the announce new colors of the MetaliK® brand of print media, the exciting range of highly reflective metalized media developed specifically for digital print processes. These new colors include bright gold and bright copper, along with the previously launched bright silver.
The MetaliK® range of materials is a revolutionary new product designed to provide optimal print performance while overcoming some of the challenges faces when digitally printing metallic media. Incorporating a propriety new technology to control static and maximize toner adhesion, MetaliK® provides user the ability to produce stunning prints with a bright, crisp metallic finish. The MetaliK® line opens many avenues for printers looking to leverage the growing interest in reflective and metal materials and when combined with new advancements in white inks and toners, printer can create bright accents without the need for a secondary process such as foil-stamping.
Following on the success of the MetaliK® Silver, Kernow is releasing a new line of board materials in gold and copper. The expanded line of colors allows customers to quickly and cost effectively produce a wide range of metallic looks. The added colors allow designers to add warm undertones to prints and allow printers to produce the look and feel of gold and copper foil stamping without the need for post processing costs.
Engineered for strength and rigidity, the MetaliK® Board folds easily with no cracking, making it a superb solution for applications such as luxury packaging, greetings cards and direct mail.
