locr is joining the HP PrintOS Marketplace with a geomarketing application that enables the creation of personalized maps and GEOservices using locr’s BATCH Tool technology. locr’s services are among the first marketing-related services to be included in the PrintOS marketplace, giving HP customers a streamlined way to create personalized maps and add the value of location to direct mail and printed materials. locr will debut the capabilities of its PrintOS Marketplace integration at the upcoming Dscoop Edge conference, March 24-27, 2019, in Orlando, Florida.
The PrintOS Marketplace was created to offer knowledge and tools that advance digital printing among HP print service providers. The online portal offers providers a range of production and design tools as well as services from HP and third parties, like locr. Today, over 8,000 print service providers have subscribed to HPPrintOS.
“locr is proud to be offered on the HP PrintOS Marketplace and of the work we have done to develop our BATCH Tool technology,” says Holger Urbansky, managing director of locr. “Adding our technology to the PrintOS Marketplace expands the number of printers that will use our services to meet clients’ demands and grow their business. We look forward to working more with HP in the future.”
Integrating locr’s BATCH Tool into the PrintOS Marketplace lets users access locr’s personalized maps through a streamlined, self-service process. This process ensures a fast, efficient integration of personalized maps into printed materials. There are two types of personalized maps available via the PrintOS: LOCALmaps, which show one or more locations near a recipient’s home or business address, and NAVimaps, which show the route from a recipient’s address to one or more locations.
“In today’s fast-changing print markets, providers need to access the best tools and resources that will help them be successful,” said Ido Tsalka, product marketing manager, HP Indigo Division. “Including locr’s geomarketing products in the PrintOS enables our customers to leverage the power of location-based marketing and use it to enhance their print projects, improve customer relationships and generate a positive return on investment.”
In addition to maps, users can also access basic GEOservices functionality at the PrintOS Marketplace. GEOservices enables businesses to use location to segment and enhance their customer address list according to a variety of geo-information rules.
