Mactac has added a new clear application tape, MACtransfer 230, to its MACtransfer marking films application tapes product line.
Similar to Mactac’s MACtransfer 210 and 220, the new MACtransfer 230 (ST3048) assists in the transfer and application of pressure-sensitive decals that have been die cut into letters, legends, striping and logos.
MACtransfer 230 is designed specifically to aid with medium to large size plotter cut decal applications, ensuring and maintaining accurate registration of cut graphics during transfer. It features a transparent, 4.5-mil, static-free lightly textured polyethylene film that has been coated on one side with a medium to high tack pressure-sensitive adhesive
“Our customers have communicated a need for a clear film application tape with a medium to high tack adhesive to allow for more precise alignment of lettering and application of multicolor overlays,” said Amanda Churlik, product manager, Mactac Distributor Products. “MACtransfer 230 is designed to meet these identified needs and more.”
The new MACtransfer 230 uniquely features a non-glare surface that enables ideal registration, eliminates wrinkles or stretching, and is easy to nick and tear when needed. Additionally, it also serves as a general application tape and can be used to protect most finished or polished surfaces during fabrication, storage, shipment and handling.
MACtransfer 230 is designed for use with all MACmark® marking films.
