Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (Nasdaq:EFII) today announced that its Midmarket Print Suite, version 4.0, is making its European debut at drupa 2016 (May 31 – June 10, Düsseldorf, Germany). The updated Productivity Suite, with EFI Pace™ as the core MIS and a rich collection of print specific components, delivers certified, end-to-end business and production workflows, making it faster and easier for printing companies to evolve to a streamlined, highly efficient mode of operation while enabling new sources of revenue.
One customer installing version 4 of the Suite, Swindon, UK-based ESP Colour, chose the software because it augments the company’s client-focused approach to production automation. “The reason we purchased the Midmarket Print Suite is to reduce touch points, enhance integration and transactions with clients in a completely automated fashion,” said ESP Colour Group Finance Director Simon Smogur. “EFI will enhance our business capabilities and our customers’ journey.”
“Drupa represents the core of the market that can benefit from the capabilities offered in the newest version of this Suite and this year’s show provides an excellent opportunity to re-introduce printing companies to all the advantages it offers,” said Jeff White, general manager, small and medium business products, EFI Productivity Software. “Visitors to our stand will also see important new improvements we have built into the Suite, such as its superior CRM capabilities and stronger data analysis tools that help them to accurately track, measure and grow their overall profitability.”
Streamlined automaton and more-advanced quoting and estimating tools
The new Suite edition includes a full range of technologies to handle web-to-print, cross-media marketing, estimating, scheduling, accounting, fulfilment and more. The collection of integrated technologies in the Suite reduces touch points in print operations, with the capability to automate numerous estimating, planning, scheduling and administrative tasks. And, in version 4, users now have tools for easier access to quotes, improved estimating, and a more-advanced characteristics filtering tool to drive efficiency in job estimating and production.
