PODi announced today that it and its gold sponsor members are providing over $100,000 to help fund North American and South American companies to attend the AppForum Marketing Services Conference for Digital Printers, May 11 – 13 at Harrah’s in Las Vegas, NV. This program is available to the next 100 North American or South American companies who register for the conference before March 31, 2015. Using this funding program, the conference fee for each company’s first AppForum registration will be reduced to $200.
“The objective of this conference is to help digital printing companies add or grow marketing services as a line of business,” says Rab Govil, President of PODi. “Yet many of the companies that most need this knowledge are the very ones who find it difficult to afford the conference cost. PODi and our gold-level sponsors have decided to create a fund designed to include these companies. We believe that offering this funding on a first-come, first-serve basis is a simple method to provide it to people who need and want it most.”
AppForum is the annual conference for companies with digital printing capabilities looking to add or expand marketing services as a line of business. It provides expert and peer-led best practice sessions, workshops, demonstrations and networking related to selling, developing and profitably delivering marketing services solutions.
Marketing services is a lucrative line of business for digital printers in which they help clients promote their goods and services. While focused on marketing, this high-margin business can encompass a wide variety of services relating to the design, implementation and management of marketing portals for sales teams, franchises & dealers, personalized direct marketing, integrated cross-media campaigns, retail signage, loyalty & subscription programs, and more. This registration funding program reduces the AppForum conference pricing to $200 for one registration from the first 100 companies who register for the conference and the conference hotel before March 31, 2015. The full conference Early Bird pricing for non-PODi members, by comparison, is $1,295. In addition, at $59 per night, the conference hotel rates are much lower than last year’s, making this the most affordable and most valuable industry conference in 2015.
This year’s AppForum Marketing Services Conference for Digital Printers, May 11 – 13 at Harrah’s in Las Vegas, NV will include vertical industry tracks and numerous, peer-led best practices sessions. In addition, customers of gold sponsors Canon, Kodak, Konica Minolta, Ricoh and Xerox will be presenting best practices of how they are implementing and utilizing solutions from these companies to grow their businesses and to improve their bottom lines.
