PODi announced creation of the PODi Institute for educating members of the printing industry in contemporary techniques and skills to become leaders in the field. The institute consists of new, ongoing, instructor-led courses as well as self-paced courses and libraries of webinar recordings and AppForum presentations. “PODi has always been about helping companies move beyond selling ink-on-paper to selling more profitable print and marketing solutions,” says PODi president, Rab Govil. “The PODi Institute takes this to a new level with new, interactive, online delivery channels to meet the needs and constraints of the people working in this industry.”
The printing industry is rapidly evolving and business owners, sales people, and delivery teams need to learn how to adapt in order to meet changing client needs, business strategies, and technologies. The people who most need these new skills are also often the ones with the tightest schedules. The PODi Institute uses the Internet in conjunction with instructors to teach effective ideas and techniques in a new series of 4-week, interactive courses.
These instructor-led courses each consist of a series of weekly online classes scheduled over four weeks. Classes are led by experts in the topics and involve one-on-one coaching and practicing so students really learn how to use what is taught. This innovative educational delivery channel leverages the best of web-based and classroom methods.
