Polish photobook and photo gift manufacturer, Profidruk, has invested in the Taopix commerce platform to replace its existing photo software.
The company, based in Szczecin, specialises in the sale and manufacture of high quality photo albums, books, calendars and gifts. Its wide range of personalised photo products are produced in-house using Canon and Xerox digital presses.
Profidruk offers an “order online, deliver to home service” to its consumer and professional photographer customers, as well as a “pickup from store” option from its high street locations.
The business was established in 1997 and currently employs 16 staff.
Business owner, Grzegorz Jasiński, says “We made the decision to replace our current software platform some time ago and have been looking for a technology that will satisfy our diverse needs; a desktop application for our professional photographer customers, an online and mobile design experience for our consumer customers and a platform that allows us to be autonomous and in control of our own template making. Taopix delivers all of this and more.”
“I particularly like the fact that it’s easy to use and intuitive for the customer. Another big advantage for us as a business is that Taopix will give us the opportunity to sell a wide range of products to mobile users and attract a new type of customer. It satisfies our immediate needs and provides a platform for us to build on into the future.”
Taopix Business Development Manager, Michael Carey, adds “We’re looking forward a long and successful partnership with Profidruk. Grzegorz has built a great business with a reputation for high quality and service and we’re confident that these strengths and our scalable, robust platform will be a winning combination.”
