Standard Finishing Systems, a leading distributor of print finishing solutions, recently announced that Steve Martinez has been promoted to Director of Sales after the retirement of the previous Director, Paul Steinke.
Martinez began his career in print over 40 years ago, holding several sales-oriented positions across Texas until he joined Standard as a Territory Sales Manager in 2007. In 2017, he was promoted to Regional Sales Manager, and he remained in that position until 2023 when he was promoted to Strategic Account Manager. In early 2025, he was promoted again to National Sales Manager where he managed all field sales activities across the U.S. and Canada. Following the retirement of Paul Steinke after decades of service at Standard, Martinez was promoted to Director of Sales effective July 1, 2026.
In his new role, Martinez will be responsible for leading Standard’s sales strategy, managing the national sales team, and continuing to strengthen Standard’s position in the print finishing market. Martinez will report to David Reny, Executive Vice President at Standard.
