drupa 2020, No.1. for Printing Technologies, is experiencing a strong demand for exhibition space. Shortly after the official registration deadline, 96% percent of the planned 1.7 million square feet of space is already booked. Companies from more than 40 countries have already confirmed their participation, including large global players as well as many smaller companies and promising start-ups. A current list of exhibitors is available at www.drupa.com. drupa will take place from June 16 – 26, 2020 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

touchpoint packaging will cover the entire spectrum of packaging production, from design to new materials, from printing to converting, from amazing embellishments to security and track & trace features. The special forum will be organized in cooperation with the European Packaging Design Association (epda), Europe’s leading association of brand and packaging designers. A steering committee consisting of renowned exhibitors such as Agfa, BOBST, Esko, Heidelberg, HP, Kurz and Siegwerk, as well as international brand owners Danone and Nestlé will contribute their expertise. Touchpoint packaging is built on the global megatrends changing our lives and impacting packaging production. The drupa touchpoint packaging experience area will showcase multiple packaging applications in a tangible way, providing inspiration for brand owners, designers and converters. It will be a drupa 2020 ‘must see’ with guided tours, short lectures, panels and tangible samples.
touchpoint 3D fab + print
The enormous potential of additive manufacturing will be an important topic at drupa 2020. The touchpoint 3D fab + print in Hall 7A will complement the exhibitors’ offerings and reflect the entire spectrum of 3D technologies. State-of-the-art innovations and best-practice cases will be presented. The special show will be a meeting place with visionary opportunities for 3D printing. The Dutch publishing house KCI Publishing BV will be again be responsible for the concept and organization.
dna – drupa next age
dna stands for drupa next age. The special show will be dedicated to the long-term future topics of the industry and stimulate productive exchanges between global players and start-ups aiming at innovation in a fast changing world. The special show will build on the start-up area of the previous drupa innovation park (dip!) and will be embedded in a new hall concept. Innovators from the start-up sector will have the opportunity to present new product ideas, services and approaches addressing future technologies to facilitate communication around print.
drupa cube
drupa cube, the conference and event program for drupa 2020, will focus on the innovative power of print and the exciting potential of diverse print applications in a wide variety of industries and areas of life. This will include new technologies such as printed electronics and creative multichannel applications as well as the use of digital printing techniques in conventional sectors like packaging or in numerous vertical markets. At the same time, the drupa cube’s interdisciplinary approach will bridge the gap between creative agencies, marketers and brand owners across various markets. The British based brand agency FreemanXP will handle the design and implementation for the program.
drupa 2020 will be held in all halls of the Messe Düsseldorf fairgrounds. Opening times are 10:00 am – 6:00 pm from Tuesday to Friday and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
