As Dscoop celebrates its 11th year in San Antonio April 14 -16, its conference is keeping everyone in attendance busy with valuable education, the latest in technology and fun!
• One person having fun is the winner of one of Dscoop’s charitable fundraisers, ‘Give-Back Texas Hold’em Tournament,’ Courtney Summers of Benson Integrated Marketing Solutions, Alpharetta, Ga. She held the winning hand at Wednesday’s robust and raucous charity poker tournament scoring $1,000 in cash and $5,000 worth of HP Indigo clicks. Congratulations Courtney! And thanks to Dscoop member Rollem for providing the card decks!
• The speaker line-up is nothing short of amazing. Toni Newman, a five-time award winning business owner and founder of The Innovation Advantage, presented “Curious Cultures: How Great Leaders Cultivate the Ideas that They Need For the Results That They Want” to a jam-packed session on Thursday, April 14. Additionally on Thursday a full-house listened to Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computers, as he shared his experiences in the Grand Opening keynote. Dscoop attendees were treated to quite an experience this morning when Kevin O’Leary, known by ‘Shark Tank’ fans as ‘Mr. Wonderful,’ gave the keynote giving a behind the scenes look at what it is like to be a Shark and essential lessons on entrepreneurship, money and sales.
• Finally, the Solutions Showcase is a hotbed of innovation with industry partners previewing significant upgrades and new products that are planned for unveiling at drupa 16. Attendees at Dscoop are seeing them here first!
